i've been sick on and off lately...
sore throat then flu followed by fever
its always in this sequence... so strange
i dun get sick easily but the past few weeks is a really trying time fer me
juggling werk and studies and then getting sick... sooo not helping lor... :P
oh well... anyways, i wanted to upload a few memorable pix
but too lazy to actually describe the entire event...lol...
so i figured just post it...as "at a weeks's glance' :P
aiyah,it doesnt matter anyway...
i AM a random person ...
spitting weird sentences...being mute all of a sudden
answering sms-es not in order... :P
confused confused confused
celebrating yen san's bdae... we went to party world, creating such a ruckus... singing chinese japanese korean hokkien english... mama mia!!!!dun ask me when this was...lol... prolly last week!! :P
this is what happens when you cross a puddle while driving...
and this is definitely NOT malaysia!
you wouldnt wan to stand right there...unless of course u hadnt had a shower for the past few months... hehe
we went to the the christian cemetery... just fer fun hehe...
did u see the area?? its so large!!! like all u see is gravestones and more gravestones.so serene yet scary.
dear liked this pix a lot coz of the effect....
hehe
we also wen to the chinese cemetery and then came across the muslim's too. while driving thru,i saw a tree branch fell over an old looking grave. but i didnt think anything abt it coz i was slightly scared to alight the car... :P then the road ahead was blocked halfway coz there was a large tree branch.by the look of it, it must have been there for quite some time coz along the areas where the branch broke off were already growing ferns... so dear took out his work gloves and pulled it to the side of the road (thats how thoughful he is, really!!) and so i tot if he can clear this, certainly he can clear the grave too...
so i directed him to the grave with the fallen tree branches. it look kinda bad... pitiful even... so dear cleared... while doing so, a man came over and said the normal muslim greeting, it was adressed to dear (!!!) but i heard him so, i replied. the guy was a caretaker i think... he asked me " are u clearing the grave?" i said yes... he muz be wondering how come a chinese guy is cleaning the muslim grave.when dear heard me talking he start looking at me then saw the guy. he was so shocked he almost jumped. he tot it was a ghost!!! haha! after leaving the area dear keep insisting i take a look at where he's going, making sure he doesnt disappear suddenly. insane sia but really, we didnt hear him coming and u already saw the picture of the cemetery area, it is so vast u can see a person walking towards you from sooo far away. dear keep saying that there was no one around when he was clearing the grave... thinking maybe the owner of the grave manifested himself as a person to thank dear for clearing the grave... funny sia... but scary oso... we were almost lost in the area... but i oso told dear... to us, we thought he was a ghost, but to him leh?? i cant imagine what went through his mind when he saw a chinese guy clearing and cleaning muslim graves at random... :P

it was sort of like a romantic joyride...without the illegalness...(altho it did felt like it for a bit)a couple of daes ago dear drove around the jurong tuas areas to kinda show me one of the blue collar world. it was an eye -opener... sth u dun get to see(unless u're familiar w/ it) he showed me his werkplace... his uncle's werkplace stuff like dat...i managed to get a few pix of the skies(tho not gud quality coz its from a handphone cam...)i saw places like oil refinery... dry docks...places where they kept those large containers...we went to an unnamed road... :P a reclaimed land we figured...
a six lane road... sth rare to see esp in s'pore.... it looked sooo malaysia-ish... so vast...
while driving around, we had to stop @ this traffic light and the spectacular thing was witnesssing the sun setting right in front of us in hte confort of our car...it was amazing... since it was kinda deserted, we ignored the green light and simply stopped there in the middle of a junction until the sun totally set.... it was woah.... really woah...
take me home.... country road... to a place where i belong... (i think i've jumbled all the lyrics up... but who cares!!1 hahah..... take me home....
