yesterday mi n vincent dine in at Amirah's Grill Restaurant and Cafe...

it was awesome lah!! altho i didnt get to take any pix, i went to their webbie to take some...

they have this special menu set where it was only $25...
quite cheap la, considering we get to try many new things...
i think this is one of the best arab food we've ever eaten(vincent agree toooo!!!)

first of all, they serve middle eatern and wetern cuisine...
i'll show some of the things i ate there....

they served us the soup first...
mine was the chicken soup... look and taste like veggie soup type...
not like those campbell stuff...
vincent was the mushroom soup... a little like the campbell type but more stuff inside there and slightly more watery.. i perfer his...

next was the pita bread with the dips and the garlic bread...
the dips was mutabel and the hummus(made famous by the ZOHAN!!!)



this is hummus, the mutabel one look almost the same but more greenish..
hummus is chickpeas (taste like red bean to me.. ahaha) and the mutabel is the eggplant ( i prefer this... vincent prefer the hummus...-muz be brainwashed by the zohan.. haha)

our main course was the same...
the Turkish Chicken Kebab... with arabic rice...look like fried rice but taste different i think.. lol...)



then followed by the dessert!!

one was Basbousa (Egyptian dessert)
the other was French Cream Caramel...
and we both love the first one!!!

the tea was served in a small pot then they gave a small cup to drink it with...
he was sooo happy sia... like traditional style... haha
i oso like the tea... gt cinnamon... very interesting taste...



this is the dining area... look plain in this photo but actually the whole place was decorated with islamic, arabic and egyptian sculptures, calligraphys and photos... super nice... they oso serve shisha, which vincent wanted but they were closing so maybe next time la...
