first hse is my auntie cik nor's very close friend(or best friend, im nt sure) since sch(!!! friends from before marriage to after children... awesome, no?) the romantic story is that cik nor's friend invited cik nor to her hse, and her friend's boyfriend invited cik lukman(they were from the same ns division(or sth like dat)) and that was how cik nor and cik lukman(my dad's older bro) got to know each other... thanks to her friends' matchmaking tactics... cute rite??!!!she said if it wasnt for her friend, she prolly wouldnt even know cik lukman... alahaiii... soooo romanticccc.......

hours after the raya outing, i met up with vincent. we had supper(again!!!!...it is, like, the 4th heavy meal i haf in 12 hrs... :P) at mcdonalds, west coast side... then we decided to gain the first experience of prawn fishing. we had no idea if it opens late at nite(it was already 2am by then) dear dun even know the place.... juz a hazy idea of where it could be located at as once told by his colleague... once we found it we were excited sia then see ppl fishing (big fish oso haf!!) but due to budget constraints, prawn fishing was the best option....

dear caught one too with 30 mins!!! wat a great feeling!(it wasnt until the end we realised that guy's fishing rod is super lucky rod coz we caught all 7 using his rod and our original one didnt catch a single one!!!! imagine how disappointed we would be if we didnt have that lucky rod??!!)

dear wondering how to catch it...i was sooo excited when i felt the tug that i pulled out the rod as quickly as i could and threw it to the pavement with all my might until it was unhooked by itself...their pincers was wat we had to watch out for because once ur finger is in btwn it, u're gonna be in a LOT of agony!!

vincent and our loot... there was a kind soul who was willing to gif the caught prawns to us... it was only 2, so he took home 2 and i took the rest!!! 7 of them!!(i caught 3, vincent caught 4)
westlake fishing village! the receipt! the fishing can go by hourly rates or go by pakage...eg, 3hrs for $28 (we took this)... we were then given one simple fishing rod(only for prawn fishing ba, coz no reeling thing), one hook, one net (to put all ur caught prawns) and one small cup of bait....

seats are all over, drink vending machine is near... even got bbq pit... dear said once he get his pay next mth we will got here again to try fishing for FISH!!! yesh!!

p/s: we went qian hu to try longkang fishing too(last month)... that was super fun!! coz we'd have to catch these uber small fishes that swim so fast...(lewis hamilton rivals)... and yeah, u'd have to be on ur knees to catch them... nid gud eyesight and awesome fast reflex....

we got the hang of it once we caught the 1st fish...we can keep them as pets afterwards!!
