this was a few weeks ago when dear decided to go to the kranji fish farm. we've been there a few times, but i nvr managed to really take pix. our usual haunt is the hauseman fish marketing or sth like dat (shall get the correct info next time i visit! :P) that was where we went for our 1st awesome fish spa.haha...they also have HUGE fish feeding, koi and tuttles feeding... quite fun. the we saw this breeding area... see how it works?? they hang the bottle into the pond. they turn the top bottle opening inside out. so tt when the fish becomes big, when they swim into the opening, its harder to swim out. tt is how they separates the big and the small fish coz sometimes big fishes like to eat the small ones :P we also went to the qian hu to play longkang fishing. darn hard i tell you... more jialat than prawn fishing. longkang fishing is physical!!!! and relies heavily on your reflexes.... HEAVILY i tell you... you have no idea how fast those guppies are! esp those small ones! but once u've caught it, major relief(coz others caught so much oredy and u still havent caught much, MY experience....hahah) and satisfaction!!!!!

drop into the pond.
inside the net is where they breed... lay eggs... then the egg will drop to the pond's floor. disallowing the parents to eat their own babies. then the babies will grow then once big will get trap inside the bottle lor.... interesting rite?? dear taught me one!! so smart he!

then we went to the bollywood veggies to eat a bit. they have bollywood curry quite ok la.. very indian style

our food has arrived... mine was the thai green curry, dear was the bollywood curry, both meat chicken.
dear tried the brown rice. i opt for white rice.

the papaya salad.... nice..... even dear liked it :D
this was like erm... some time ago lol....i think last week la... we went to pay his judo class fees @ the spans club in ah hood rd, then we went to the bowling area. it was sooooo little crowd, im quite happy tt i wont be sooo embarassed haha...

imagine my 1st throw was my BEST score... the rest went downhill afterwards... lol... kept going longkang.... :P
V vs A .... 1st score mine was better... my balls are pink!!! hahaha... bowling balls laaa....cute rite... so striking... too bad i didnt strike... @ ALL.... :P
The Da Vinci Outing
chim word we learnt yesterday.vitruvian man... proud to say i can pronounce it without much difficulty... as compared to dear... ahahah
we went to the da vinci exhibition (coz i was desperate to "be inspired" ahahah)
yesterday, lo and behold, imagine my surprise, dear was more informative than me!
in fact,half of the exhibits was explained by him to me... ahaha
(he was the one who told me Leonardo's last name is not DaVinci, it just means Leornado from Vinci .... ohhhhh now i know :P... then he scold me, say how come i had wanted to go to his exhibition soooo darn badly and yet i dun even know the most important fact abt his name... hahahaah :P)

its juz tt his creations were waaaaay technical, he didnt even have to read the explaination he knew how the mechanisms was gonna werk...awesome, no?

i left the exhibit definitely more inspired(even if it lasted for a min :P)
coz he really took all of his ideas and thoughts seriously.
he made it happen, even when there is a possibility tt it mite not werk, he still went on with it. he didnt have any doubts and he didnt think any of his ideas was crazy or not. he didnt think he could create the thing we now call the helicopter or aeroplane, but he did came up with a few ideas and spread it around.
in hopes tt, if he couldnt do it, perhaps someone could improve on his idea.

too bad i cant take photos inside... but i did buy a few souvenirs...


i bought a poster of his montage of works, a book about his exhibitions, i got a bag fer free. i also bought a cup/mug and a ruler.

after that we headed to kim's bbq @ pasir ris... it was raining cats and dogs and sheeps and cows man!!!... it was a very wet late evening... thankfully, the rain stopped ard 9. i ate a bit, then headed to the new ehub! @ pasir ris shopping centre... it looks cool.... got hei sushi! halal sushi babe!! wahhhh cannot wait to try! then we went over to x-zone coz dear wanted to play the punch machine. unfortunately, there dun haf... but we played the scoop game instead.
dear changed a lot of $$$. this was our loot! dear managed to get the fluffy phone chain bear at the scoop game too... i am sooooo proud of him!!!!! so shiok sia... having won sth!!!... :D
in total. so far. we spent about $120 on scoop games... since we started. madness rite... we could have got more if we juz buy outside, however, this game may be ex, but the feeling of winning it : priceless!!!! thank you dear!!! :D
when dear went to change his $$$$ to coin to play the game, the cashier gave dear THIS note!!! can u imagine our luck??!!! dear was like, "eh, you dun want to keep this $ ah?" he was like " i myself no $$ to use ".... then dear gave me the note to keep!!! nice rite???? got the word singapore and brunei darussalam.

so shiok.... then this morning, dear found out he got chicken pox!!!!! wahahahahahah.... 2 weeks MC!!! can spend time with me liao!! yay! :P and yes... i forced him to go out with me despite him having fever... :P since tuesday fever and today sunday, he diagnosed chicken pox.. :P he la.... oways like to put on hold his health when work is concerned... seee? now kenna 2 weeks mc liao... muz rest well!!! :D

on a sad note, dear's beloved fish, the dragon eel passed away yesterday morning coz it was suspected tt it was attacked by the sucker fish coz the body got wounds all over.... tt bloody sucker fish!!!!!! when i heard the news from him and then to hear him cry.... sad sia....omg
